Keep a Grateful Journal

First thing in the morning, most people are dreading the long to do lists and responsibilities they have to accomplish that day. Instead of doing that, make yourself a grateful list!
Each morning wake up and write down five things that you are thankful for. These can be small or big things but everyone can think of five. By doing this you are starting your day with a positive attitude. When you start your day like this, you are more likely to carry that positive outlook through the day and have an effect on others.
You can’t help but smile while writing this list. Truly take some time to think of all the amazing things in your life! 

Add a Workout Routine

We all know that working out is good for our bodies, no surprise there! Exercising has endless benefits including improved memory, better sleep, more energy, increased strength, and many more.
What some people don’t know is that when you workout, endorphins are released. This is a chemical that helps fight off stress, which in return makes our brain happy! Working out a couple times a week makes for a happy lifestyle!

An affirmation is a statement that declares something positive about yourself. Examples could be “I am beautiful” or “I am successful”. Think of negative things that you say about yourself and turn them around into an optimistic sentence. Write these on a notecard and read them to yourself every morning. I know this may sound crazy, but after you read them day after day, you start thinking and believing these great things about yourself.
