Drink more water

Perhaps the most important first step to improve your health is to drink more water. This is probably the simplest way to start, yet most of us still struggle to consume enough water throughout the day.

Get yourself a cup/bottle that is approximately 20oz. Keep track of each time you fill it throughout the day. You can do this with pen and paper or with an app like MyFItnessPal. Fill your cup 5 to 6 times per day and that’s 100 – 120 oz. of water. Make adjustments to fit your goals.

Eat a healthy diet

The next thing, and the most difficult for some people, is sticking to a healthy diet.

First, you must educate yourself a little bit on what your body needs and what foods are going to give it the proper fuel. Here are a few basic tips to consider…
