You finally got that time off from your work and you cannot wait to go on your vacation. This time you don't want to go to some fancy resort for two weeks in Mexico. So before you do go for your next trip, it's good to think carefully about those things in order to spend this time nicely and smoothly.
First, think of your destination. What country do you want to visit this time? Think of the places which are safe for tourists, with lots of hotels or motels around, great communication, good health care (in case of something bad happens) and cuisine, which is safe for your gut. In such places you'll feel comfortable and traveling for you will be nice and easy.
If you made the decision where you want to go, it's time to think of the transportation to your destination. Even a couple of months before your trip, it's good to observe the websites, which are offering the cheap flights. Also, be aware of all the promotions going on on their websites. Sometimes your destination might change, because you've found out that this year the flight is much cheaper to Italy than it is to Greece, so be flexible.
Plan ahead what you want to see. There are so many travel blogs, that you can find online, with so many useful tips that you should check out. Also, don't forget to take with you some guidebooks and maps of the place you're going to visit. Planning ahead how you're gonna move around and how much time it will take for you is important as well. There might be some things and places that you won't have time for and you will have to leave them for your next visit.
4. Where exactly?
Look closely at the pictures of the hotels you're planning to stay at, read the reviews, check the surroundings and compare prices. You don't need to reserve for all the days you plan to be there, but you need to make sure you'll have a place to stay for at least 2 or 3 first days. Find out if breakfast, parking (if you take your car with you) and Wi-Fi is included in the price.
Last, but not least, remember to relax and have fun on your vacation!
