Affordable Places to Visit in Europe

You don’t have to give up your dreams of traveling because it costs too much

Many people dream of visiting Europe, but they assume that it will be too expensive. This actually isn’t true, but it matters which countries you go to. You can get all of the beautiful nature, cultural experiences, and amazing views of architecture without breaking your budget. You don’t have to give up your dreams of traveling because it costs too much, if you just do it right. The first tip you should follow is always flying out of and into major capital cities. Let’s look at a few different countries you can visit and pay very affordable prices to have the time of your life.

The Czech Republic:

The Czech Republic is a very affordable travel destination. You can buy beers there for less than one dollar, and eat a great meal for two for under 10. In Prague, there is no shortage of amazing cultural sites to see, and hostel beds can be bought for less than 10 dollars. You can go out to amazing night clubs without breaking the bank, too.

Bulgaria is not a travel destination you often hear of, but this East European destination has a lot to offer. Visit beautiful mountains, old fortresses, and great museums. It’s also very exotic to visit somewhere that uses the Cyrillic alphabet (similar to Russian). Bulgarians are friendly, polite, and helpful. You can find cheap taxis, beer, and accommodation in Bulgaria. In fact, it’s even cheaper than the Czech Republic. You can rent a flat in Bulgaria for far less money than you would pay in the United States. In fact, your U.S. dollars will stretch very far in Bulgaria, so give it a go and visit.

Hungary is another affordable travel destination with a lot to offer. Go to the capital city, Budapest, and you’ll find that it’s a lively cultural center. Check out some of their historical sites and enjoy some traditional Hungarian food for low, low prices. You can even take a free walking tour around the city and see it from a local’s perspective. You can have a great, fun-filled day and spend less than 20 dollars for it. If you visit Budapest, you won’t regret it!

As you can see, there are plenty of destinations you can visit where your American dollars will go much further than they do in the States or in other, more expensive European countries. If you want to save money, avoid France, Britain, and Germany, and instead go further East for some great experiences.
